RETURNS & DELIVERY
This right to return does not apply to business customers or trade orders. Charlesworthy.com may at its discretion either replace all or part of damaged, defective or incorrect items for business customers or trade orders, or offer a right to return.
Note: Non-Stock products ie Made to Order products and Customised products cannot be returned or exchanged.
Bespoke Products
Important: Bespoke/custom made orders & Items that have a customer chosen finish on upholstery, wood or metal cannot be returned or exchanged, as they are manufactured specially for you with those finishes. This includes any customisation of the product like size or height, etc.
Stock Products
Return of STOCK items will not be accepted under the following conditions;
If notified after 14 days from the date of receipt of items.
If the original packaging has been disposed of.
If any item has been assembled.
If the items are not in re-saleable condition
Only items purchased from stock can be returned or exchanged.
RETURNS OF UNWANTED PRODUCTS, we will refund the price of the Product in full. However, the customer is responsible for all delivery and return costs; Our return delivery cost with our courier is £85 per item from most of England and Wales, return of unwanted items from Scotland is £165per item. Product (s) must be returned in the original packaging. Please note, If you choose your own courier we strongly recommend you have adequate goods in transit insurance for the full value of the product(s) We also recommend you take photographs of the original packaging and product(s) to show there is no damage to the items before your chosen courier collects the Products (s)
We will examine the returned Products(s) upon return to check the condition. Where we reasonably believe the damage was caused by you or your courier (if you have chosen to return goods with your choice of courier instead of booking a collection from our courier), this may affect the amount of your refund.
GOODS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT. If a defect was found upon delivery, we will refund you in full. We will use our own courier to collect damaged items at no cost to you (the customer) It is the customer’s responsibility to check the condition of the goods received as our couriers will unwrap items for you to inspect. Please retain the original packaging and boxes for our couriers to collect. Goods cannot be returned without the original packaging. We process refunds within 14 days of receiving the goods back at our warehouse.

- Please inspect your purchase/s once they are unwrapped to make sure you are happy, and they are in satisfactory condition
- Retain the original packaging if you need to return the goods. (They cannot be returned if the original packaging has been disposed of)
- PLEASE NOTE: If the items are signed for in the ‘goods unchecked’ box then Charlesworthy will not accept liability for damage reported after that. This does not affect your statutory rights
TRADE ORDERS
Charlesworthy Limited is unable to accept returns for items that have not been delivered by us. We (Charlesworthy limited) will not be held responsible for any damages incurred via a third party carrier/couriers including own transport.
All goods must be checked within 7 days (including Saturday and Sunday)
Charlesworthy do not take responsibility and will not be held liable for damage when the buyer has used a third party courier to collect or deliver goods, including own transport. It is recommended that the Buyer ensures any transport companies, collecting or delivering on the Buyer’s behalf, have the necessary insurance in place.
This right to return does not apply to business customers or trade orders. Charlesworthy.com may at its discretion either replace all or part of damaged, defective or incorrect items for business customers or trade orders, or offer a right to return.
REFUNDS:
Refunds are normally made within 14 working days. If you have asked us to collect, then the return charge of £85 per item will be deducted prior to refund
